Loro hanno allontanato le armonie, loro hanno incendiato i boschi di quest'Isola e bombardato mare e montagne, loro hanno avvelenato l'acqua. Il fiume era cristallo vivo, ora è fiele giallastro. Il bosco degli eucalipti è un deserto di cenere, i pesci dello stagno muoiono boccheggiando con le branchie strangolate dall'alga velenosa, il vento porta l'odore della loro putrefazione. La terra vuole difendersi, e chiede aiuto. Siamo rimasti solo noi ad ascoltarla. E io ho deciso: per salvare la terra, bisogna aiutare gli uomini nel loro sogno di autodistruzione

 They have removed the harmonies, they have set fire to the woods of this Island and bombed the sea and mountains, they have poisoned the water.  The river was crystal clear, now it is yellowish gall.  The eucalyptus forest is a desert of ash, the fish in the pond die gasping with their gills strangled by the poisonous weed, the wind carries the smell of their rot.  The earth wants to defend itself, and asks for help.  We are the only ones left to listen to it.  And I decided: to save the earth, we must help men in their dream of self-destruction
